Description

Vicatile is a cement based premixed tiling adhesive mortar class (C1T) according to EN 12004. The mix design includes graded high purity sands, and a synergistic blend of admixtures. The product is pre-blended and ready for mixing with water on site. Vicatile may be applied on all types of porous substrates such as concrete, cement plaster, bricks or stones.

Uses

Vicatile can be used to to adhere ceramic tiles over the following substrates:

  • Concrete.
  • Hard natural and reconstituted stone.
  • Solid rock.
  • Hollow and solid masonry.
  • Cementitious plaster and render.

Coverage

  • After mixing with water, the 25 Kg bag yields about 15.5 liters of mortar covering (7.0 – 8.0) m² of 2 mm thickness on an even surface.
  • Absorbency of the substrate greatly affects the consumption rate so a site mockup is recommended.
  • Allowance should be made for any possible wastage when estimating.
