Description

VICAPROOF-150 is a Two component Waterproofing slurry for concrete and masonry based on cement, siliceous graded fillers, additives (part A) and modified acrylic polymer (part B).

After mixing part A with part B it will produce workable slurry that can be applied by brush or trowel.

VICAPROOF-150 is an ideal economic solution for the protection of concrete and masonry structures against moisture.

Advantages

  • Economic and easy to apply
  • Very low capillary absorption with good breathability.
  • Resists carbonation providing excellent protection to steel reinforcement.
  • Suitable for food industry and potable water.
  • Excellent adhesion.
  • Limited flexibility.
  • Doesn’t need surface smoothing before application.
  • Can be used indoor and outdoor.
  • UV resistant.

Uses

  • Waterproofing coating for water retaining structures, foundations and wet areas.
  • To protect concrete against concrete decay providing a chemical resistant barrier to corrosive salts and atmospheric gases.
  • To reface concrete surfaces.
  • To provide a tough and durable coating.
  • To provide protection to concrete surfaces from carbonation.

Coverage

  • After mixing Part A with Part B, the 25 Kg yields about 16.7 liters of slurry
  • The rate of consumption will be about 1.5 – 2.0 Kg/ m2 for two perpendicular applied coats depending on the substrate.
  • VICAPROOF-150 should be applied at a minimum of two perpendicular coats.
  • Allowance should be made for any possible wastage and surface irregularities when estimating.
  • Various colors are available for large orders.

Package

  • VICAPROOF-150 is supplied in a group of 20kg bag (Part A) + 5Kg liquid polymer (Part B)
