Vicamix-R is a mortar powder additive based on Vicat special binders and rheology adjustors.
When added to Portland cement mortar, a non-sagging shrinkage compensating mortar is produced with enhanced workability, mechanical performance and minimized or eliminated cracks caused by drying shrinkage.

Description

Vicamix-R is a mortar powder additive based on Vicat special binders and rheology adjustors.
When added to Portland cement mortar, a non-sagging shrinkage compensating mortar is produced with enhanced workability, mechanical performance and minimized or eliminated cracks caused by drying shrinkage.

Uses

Mortars produced by the addition of Vicamix-R can be used in, but not limited to, the following applications examples:

  • Concrete and masonry repair by patching or shotcreting.
  • Resurfacing of concrete prior to tilling works in swimming pools and water tanks.
  • Floor screeds.
  • Tiles and bricks bedding and bonding.
  • Renders.

Coverage

  • 10% – 20% of the Portland cement weight.
  • Ideal dose is 10 Kg Vicamix-R pack per 50 Kg Portland cement bag.
  • This dosage should not be exceeded otherwise extra expansion can occur.
